if you separated out the seam finishes you would have closer to your 66. I love the coletterie blind hem tutorial http://www.coletterie.com/tutorials-tips-tricks/tutorial-how-to-sew-a-blind-hem and the JuxtaposeNZ bound button holes http://juxtaposenz.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/how-to-make-spanish-snap-buttonholes.html – which are bit different from normal ones
Those buttonholes are fantastic! I’ve never seen anything like them. Added, thanks! I’ll have to have a closer look at the blind hem tutorial, too. The trouble with blind hemming is that it seems so tricky at first but once you get it, it’s completely intuitive and you can never imagine how it was difficult. Like that picture that’s the old woman and the young one at the same time.
What a great reference list – will definitely have to come back here when I’m looking for something. I recently found this tutorial for inset corners – it is fabulous http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4517/video-conquering-inset-corners
Aaaand now I’m going to spend half the day looking at Threads videos! Thanks for that one, it’s added!
